Senior Banker Business Development/Personal Banker

Position Title: Senior Banker Business Development/Personal Banker
Branch: Fresno
Grade: 10
Position Summary: The Senior Banker (Business Focus) supports the Branch Manager in attaining branch goals and maintaining a customer driven sales and service environment. The Senior Banker (Business Focus) promotes and sells all Bank products and services to new and existing customers.
Major Responsibilities:
Acquires and develops small and mid-sized business customer relationships by proactively developing business and community relationships.
Prepares a calling plan and prospective profile for each new business prospect in conjunction with strategic business development program.
Profiles new and existing customers to discover their business and personal goals in order to provide business solutions to match their current and future needs.
Proactively identifies business customer opportunities and fulfills their needs or refers the customer to other specialized internal business partners.
Works in collaboration with internal business partners; Cash Management, Merchant Processing, Commercial Banking, Real Estate, Leasing, Raymond James Investment Services.
Uses every customer interaction as an opportunity to build a relationship with each customer through effective profiling, tele-consulting and where appropriate refers customers to business partners.
Meet sales goals as assigned.
Proactively partners with Branch Manager to develop and implement promotional sales campaigns, cross-sell plans and tele-consulting activities.
Ensures that all customer transactions are handled timely and accurately according to guidelines and that cash and security procedures are followed.
Prepares necessary documentation from the sale of products and services and inputs data.
Adheres to all operating and regulatory compliance guidelines.
Other Responsibilities:
Represents the bank at civic/government, industry and community functions.
Maintains a current understanding of and complies with regulations that include but are not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, suspicious activity reporting, Reg B/Fair Lending, Reg Z/Truth in Lending, Reg DD/Truth in Savings, Expedited Funds Availability Act, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, Community Reinvestment Act and the SAFE Act.
Maintains a current understanding of Bank policies and procedures.
Maintains an awareness of competitive products, practices, rates and changes in market area.
Acts as lead to branch personnel in the absence of Business Development Manager and Assistant Manager.
Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
Education, Experience, And Other Skills Required:
High school or GED required, unless age 18.
Business to business sales or financial services sales experience preferred.
Demonstrated sales and marketing abilities.
Business financial analysis experience preferred
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to complete a high volume of work with accuracy.
Able to be registered as a mortgage loan originator (MLO) in the Nationwide Mortgage License System and Registry (NMLS).

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
