The communications and marketing intern will gain real-world
experience and a solid introduction to marketing and communications practices while
receiving on-the-job experience supporting the Marketing and Communication
Team?s activities.
Under direction of the communications manager, the communications
and marketing intern supports the internal communications function by
researching, interviewing and editing original and existing materials for a
variety of communications channels including associate emails, three associate
newsletters and multi-media messaging. The communications and marketing intern
will also collaborate with the communications manager to develop the company?s
next generation intranet resource. Some light design work will also be under
this position?s remit. The intern will be trained in using Salesforce Marketing
Cloud to lay out, send and track a wide variety of emails. This role will also
be responsible for running and maintaining up-to-date email lists.
Under direction of the marketing manager, the intern coordinates
development of a variety of advertising and marketing deliverables, including but not limited to:
+ Company briefs
+ Collateral
+ Advertisements
+ Exhibit messaging and signage
+ Company descriptions
Additionally, the position will help establish goals,
gather details and coordinate a variety of exhibit-oriented events and measure
performance against goals. The intern will also assist in developing an online
resource serving business development and business unit personnel.
We are looking for a current undergraduate student with:
A high degree of computer and digital communications
Excellent writing
Editing experience
Organizational skills
Basic project management aptitude
Minimum GPA of 3.0
Working knowledge of MS Office is preferred, but training
will also be provided.
The successful candidate must be currently enrolled in an
accredited college or university in their junior or senior years of their
undergraduate studies and will not graduate prior to July 2018.
This is a paid position for 20 hours per week of
year-round work.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
